Sun-San kids styles
- Surfer: Infant 3 – Youth 3 — a good all-round fit for most feet.
- Sweetheart: Infant 5 – Youth 3 — a good all-round fit for most feet.
- Sailor: Infant 2 – Youth 3 — with straps that enclose the foot; this style fits slightly narrower and shorter than others.
- Hook & Loop (Velcro) Surfer: Infant 3 – Youth 3 (sizes vary by colourway) — fits most feet and includes an easy on/off velcro ankle strap.
- Sea Wee: Infant 0 – Infant 4 — perfect for first walkers; the extra slit in the toe strap gives added flexibility.
- Swimmer: Infant 5 – Youth 3 — a narrower fit than the Salt Water Original.
Fit tips
- Ankle straps: toddlers’ feet and ankles vary in thickness — it’s rare, but ankle straps can occasionally look or feel tight even when the sandal length is correct; this is most common in infant sizes.
- Don’t oversize to grow: Do not buy a larger size hoping the sandals will “last longer.” Oversized sandals increase the risk of tripping and won’t give the support a child needs.
- Break-in: for mild tightness, put the sandals on, stand in cool water briefly, then let them dry while worn so they mould to your child’s foot. If the foot won’t fit at all, do NOT wet — wetting may affect your right to return the item.
- Leather: some leathers feel stiffer due to the finish or supplier; they usually soften quickly with wear. Wetting helps speed this up for mild stiffness.
Care
Made for beach days and everything in between — Sun-San sandals are water-friendly. Rinse off sand and salt, hand wash with a mild detergent in cold water if needed, and air dry away from direct sunlight or heat. Over time the sandals will soften and mould to your child’s foot.

Orders are usually dispatched within three business days (up to ten business days during busy periods and sales).

Full-priced items can be returned within 30 days of purchase (or 45 days for December orders), provided they are unworn, in original condition, and include all packaging. Please try on on carpet.

- Returns: Shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility.
- Exchanges: Purchase your replacement pair and return the original, or select store credit via the returns portal.
- Faulty items: For sandals purchased via one of our stockists please contact the store directly. For sandals purchased via this online store please email photos, order details, and contact info to hello@saltwatersandals.com.au.
